Soporte de placas FarSite en Mikrotik
En la versión v3.15 Mikrotik RouterOS empieza a dar únicamente soporte a las placas FarSite para acceso Sync/T1/E1.
Noticia importante al momento de buscar cuales placas podemos utilizar, a continuación se muestra un resúmen de las caracteristicas de estos tarjetas:
- Wide speed range – up to 10 Mbits/s synchronous full duplex
- Maximum total bandwidth 64 Mbits/s
- Sync or Async support on X.21, V.35, RS232C, EIA530, RS422 and RS449 WAN interfaces
- External clocks handling and adapter generated clock support
- 4 communication ports with ESD protection circuitry
- API for HDLC frame and transparent raw bitstream modes
- Can link to the PCs TCP/IP protocol stack
- PCI and PCI-X compatible bus mastering Universal PCI adapter
- CE and FCC class B approval
- Supported on Linux, Windows XP, Vista, Server 2003, Server 2008
- SDK – optional Developers Toolkit – includes API documentation, utility applications, sample applications and source code
